This sculpture by Ásmundur Sveinsson shows a woman making butter in Reykjavík. It is an ode to Icelandic farm women. Woman Churning Butter shows distinct characteristics of Sveinsson’s work and can be found both in Ásmundarsafn’s garden and in Árbæjarsafn Open Air Museum.
